Terms of sale.

Astrel Bio (“we”) is a research-supply business operating in the United Kingdom. Contact: hello@astrelbio.co.uk.

All products listed on this website are supplied strictly for in-vitro and animal research purposes only. They are not medicinal products within the meaning of the UK Human Medicines Regulations 2012. By placing an order with Astrel Bio you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You are a qualified researcher or are acting under the direction of one, and you are acquiring the materials for genuine laboratory research.
• You will not divert the materials to human or veterinary use under any circumstances, and you will not resupply them to anyone who intends to do so.
• You accept that misuse of these materials may be unlawful and that liability for misuse rests with you.

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling and are inclusive of UK VAT where applicable. Shipping charges are calculated at checkout. Astrel Bio reserves the right to correct manifest pricing errors before an order is dispatched and to cancel the order with a full refund if it is uneconomic to fulfil.

Card payments are processed by an external payment provider; Astrel Bio does not see or store card details. Cryptocurrency payments are processed via Coinbase Commerce. Bank-transfer orders are held until we confirm receipt of funds. Title in the goods passes to the buyer on dispatch.

Delivery times stated on the website are estimates. Risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer on delivery to the address supplied at checkout. See our shipping and returns pages for the full operational policy.

Sealed research-grade vials cannot be returned for change of mind under reg. 28(3)(b) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Astrel Bio will replace or refund orders that arrive damaged, contain the wrong product, are lost in transit, or are shown to be below-spec on independent retest. Astrel Bio’s liability for any single order is limited to the value of that order. We accept no liability whatsoever for any consequence — direct, indirect, consequential, or punitive — arising from misuse of the materials supplied, including but not limited to consumption by humans or veterinary animals. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under English law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

All content on this website — text, images, brand assets, and the catalogue — is the property of Astrel Bio unless otherwise indicated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any of it without express written permission.

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version in force at the time you place an order is the version that governs that order. We will publish the date of the last revision at the top of this page.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising in connection with them.
